Stefano Schmalzbauer

Stefano Schmalzbauer is a Manager in GreerWalker’s tax practice. He has more than 10 years of experience in tax and business advisory services with a strong focus on corporate and individual international tax issues. He provides tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to a wide array of clients, with a particular industry focus on manufacturing and distribution companies. Stefano has significant expertise in entity selection, entity structure, ownership changes, expatriation services, and transfer pricing.

Stefano was born in Milan, Italy. He moved to the U.S. in 2012 and  started his career as a tax consultant at PlanteMoran PLLC before he joined GreerWalker in the fall of 2023. Stefano speaks, reads, and writes fluent Italian.
