GreerWalker is thrilled to announce the inaugural recipients of the GreerWalker Community Impact Fund grant program. After an extraordinary response and careful deliberation, three standout organizations have been chosen for their commitment to advancing education and economic mobility in the Charlotte and Greenville metro areas.
The selected organizations are Project Host, MeckEd, and Families Forward Charlotte – each demonstrating innovative programs and a deep commitment to improving the communities they serve.
- Project Host uses food as a platform to nourish the hungry and train the unemployed and underemployed in Greenville, paving the way for economic independence.
- MeckEd, a Charlotte-based advocacy group, is dedicated to ensuring every student in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region has access to excellent public education.
- Families Forward Charlotte is committed to easing the burden of poverty on children and their families in the Charlotte area.

The GreerWalker Community Impact Fund was established to enhance education, foster economic mobility, and empower individuals and families to rise above their circumstances and build sustainable futures in the communities in which we live and work. The grant program is one of the ways the firm is investing in the future of the Charlotte and Greenville metro areas.
