Application Instructions
The primary mission of the GreerWalker Community Impact Fund (the “Fund”) is to enhance education, foster economic mobility, and empower individuals and families to rise above their circumstances and build sustainable futures. We accomplish this through funding grants to carefully selected nonprofit organizations that share our vision. These nonprofits are deeply entrenched in the Carolinas and facilitate direct, effective support to the community. Our Fund strives to be a catalyst for positive change by fostering a culture of lifelong learning and self-improvement. We believe that by investing in education and economic mobility today, we are contributing to a more equitable and prosperous society for tomorrow.
The GreerWalker Community Impact Fund is a donor advised fund established by GreerWalker LLP and held at the Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC).
Grant amounts between $10,000 and $25,000 will be awarded to organizations focused on economic mobility and education. Eligible organizations should be located in the the Charlotte metro area (North Carolina counties: Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Union. South Carolina counties: Chester, Lancaster, and York) or Greenville metro area (South Carolina counties: Anderson, Greenville, Laurens, Pickens, and Spartanburg).
Due to potential conflict of interest, we are unable to grant funds to any current GreerWalker clients.
The 2024 GreerWalker Community Impact Fund Grant Application is now closed. 2024 Applicants will be notified of their award status by December 16, 2024.
