The GreerWalker Community Impact Fund (the “Fund”) is pleased to announce that the grant application is now open for nonprofit organizations in the Charlotte, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina metro areas. The Fund, established by GreerWalker and held at the Foundation for The Carolinas (FFTC), is committed to enhancing education, fostering economic mobility, and empowering individuals and families to overcome their circumstances and build sustainable futures.
The Fund is seeking applications from nonprofit organizations that share its vision and are deeply entrenched in the Carolinas, offering direct, effective support to the community. The primary mission of the Fund is to act as a catalyst for positive change, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and self-improvement.
“By investing in education and economic mobility today, we believe we are contributing to a more equitable and prosperous society for tomorrow,” said GreerWalker Partner and fund champion David Jones.
Grant amounts ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 will be awarded to organizations focused on economic mobility and education. Due to the impact of Hurricane Helene on our region, we have extended the application period and will accept applications until October 25, 2024.
It should be noted that due to potential conflicts of interest, the Fund is unable to grant funds to any current GreerWalker clients.
