Community Involvement
Over the past 30 years, GreerWalker has developed a strong community service culture. We believe as a business leader it is vital to take an active role in the improvement of our community. This commitment to the community parallels our commitment to our clients and profession. It is the very foundation of our firm.
Our local CPAs have actively supported the annual fundraising campaigns of the United Way of Central Carolinas and the Arts & Science Council for many years and we encourage everyone who works at GreerWalker to engage in community service projects.
GreerWalker Community Impact Fund
In 2024, GreerWalker launched its Community Impact Fund with a goal to enhance education, foster economic mobility, and empower individuals and families to rise above their circumstances and build sustainable futures in the communities in which we live and work. The grant application period for 2024 was September 15 – October 25.
